"Progress has brought us both unbounded opportunities and unbridled difficulties. Thus the measure of our civilization will not be that we have done much, but what we have done with that much."

— Teddy Roosevelt

Center on Education

The education policy center focuses on all aspects of education including local, state, and national issues. The quality of education in America is strongly influenced by financing mechanisms, pedagocical mehodology, and political pressure. We intend to use our ideas, energy, and research to explore a variety of approaches to improving America's education system from Pre-K to adult education. Projects for the center will be chosen by its growing membership. We hope to be working on numerous projects in the Spring 2006 semester.
